With Sissy Koulouria.

We invite you to join us for a self- exploratory four-day retreat. Experience calming and dynamic yoga sessions, meditation, pranayama, art therapy sessions, nourishing and delicious food, mindful walks and swimming in crystal blue waters.

Together we will explore body, mind, & nature and we will discover how yoga can improve our overall health and happiness and how can we bring ancient yogic knowledge into our modern way of living.

The Location

Pelion Homes Retreat CentreAgios Georgios Nilias is a beautiful and green traditional village on the slopes of the Western Pelion, 22 km from Volos, between the Pagasitikos Gulf and the Aegean Sea, at a distance of 20′-30 ‘from the nearest beaches and near the village of Milies.

Sissy Koulouria was first introduced to Yoga in 2002 and since then it has been an integral part of her life. Teaching came naturally and in 2015 she completed the 200-hour Abhaya Yoga training with Vivi Letsou and in 2017 she completed the 500-hour Abhaya Yoga training cycle at NYSY Studios where she taught for 4 years. Since then, she has been trained in techniques and attended seminars with well-known and renowned teachers in the fields of;

Thai Yoga Massage – Tibetan Bowls – Aerial Yoga – Yin Yoga – Fascia Yoga – Yoga Therapy – Yoga Nidra – Nada Yoga – Chakras & Meridians – Kids Yoga – Trigger Points therapy – Pranayama – Bandhas – Trauma informed Yoga.

With immense love and dedication for what she does, she makes sure she is in a continuous learning process so, in February 2020, listening to the call of her soul, she began the journey to Shamanic Energy Healing and the Healing Wheel where she completed the 4 directions while at the same time coming in contact with the world of Chinese Medicine by attending seminars on traditional medical practices.

Her need for deepening turned her to more traditional trainings so in April 2021 she completed a 100hr training in Vinyasa Krama with Spyros Kapnias – Garudananda and from February 2022 she is being training in traditional Himalayan yoga by her Guru Dr Kumar.

In her classes she likes to work with uplifting messages and inspired themes, combining her knowledge from all her fields of education, connecting Yin and Yang practices, free & intuitive movement with stability & alignment to provide a holistic experience for her students.

Her purpose is to deepen her own practice and help others move forward in their own inner journey of self-awareness and healing.

Eliza Iatridou started her studies in the field of Interior Architecture in Kent University (UK), she then did a master degree in Design Strategy and Innovation in Brunel University (UK) and continued in studying Architecture in National Technical University of Athens.

She then moved in the field of psychotherapy by studying in Greece “Art Therapy” in the Art Therapy Center, “Expressive Art Therapy” in the Institution of Drama Therapy Aeon, where she now teaches at the program.

She then studied “Group Dynamics in Psychiatric Frameworks” in Hellenic Society for Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy.

She is a graduate student of the program on “Art Based Supervision” in Institution of Drama Therapy Aeon and does a master at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the department of Nursing, in “Specialized Palliative Care for Adults and advanced Nursing Oncology”. She is a member of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), the European Federation of Art Therapy (EFAT) and the Association of Expressive Arts Therapists and Jungian Coaches in Greece.

She works as an expressive arts therapist in her private clinic and she cooperated with psychiatrists and therapy centers.
