PAYMENTS & BOOKING OF YOUR RETREAT
● To reserve a place on a Pelion Homes Retreat, a non-refundable deposit is required, this deposit will be 30% of the full retreat payment unless otherwise agreed.
● The full payment (outstanding amount) is to be paid no later than ninety (90) days prior to the retreat start date xx/xx/2024

RETREAT CONFIRMATION
Acceptance onto the retreat is subject to the following conditions.
● Emailing a copy of this agreement completed to nicholas@pelionhomes.com.
● Receipt of deposit and/or payment in full prior to retreat start date as outlined.
These terms and conditions, deposit payment & written confirmation of booking form the basis of the agreement between the facilitator and PELION HOMES. In all cases, the facilitator accepts that it is their responsibility to check the details detailed in this document. Any discrepancies you wish to raise, must be brought to the attention of PELION HOMES in writing, within seven (7) days of the booking and deposit payment.
CANCELLATIONS
“Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled retreat. Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply.
● A cancellation will not be effective unless we receive written confirmation by email.
● Your 30% deposit paid is non-refundable.
● If cancellation takes place more than ninety (90) days prior to retreat start date, then any payments made will be refunded minus your non-refundable deposit.
● If cancellation takes place less than ninety (90) days prior to the retreat start date, then 100% of the amount paid will be forfeited.
● Rescheduling the retreat will mean the 30% deposit will be forfeited and is non transferable. A new deposit will need to be paid in order to reserve any future date.
● Cancelling the retreat after the ninety (90) days will result in the outstanding amount being forfeited.
CANCELLATION OF THE RETREAT BY PELION HOMES
We will always try our best to help our guests wherever possible. Cancelling an event will always be a very last option. We want to make the retreat happen as much as you. In exceptional cases where PELION HOMES cancel the booking: The retreat organiser and participants will receive 100% refund of paid amounts, including the deposit.
ALTERATION OF THE RETREAT BY THE FACILITATOR
Amendments or alterations to a booking must be made in writing or by email to us. The retreater will be advised of any changes in costs that might occur as a result. This could be in relation to the number of attendees, a request for additional services or excursions and other factors related to the overall booking of the retreat.
ALTERATION OF THE RETREAT BY PELION HOMES
Should any significant alteration to any retreat for which a booking has been made become necessary, the retreater shall be informed at the earliest convenience. This could be due to factors out of PELION HOMES hands such as force majeure, extreme weather conditions. The retreater shall be offered the choice of accepting the alteration, or a full refund of the paid amounts, as long as the client has not yet arrived at the retreat space.
PERSONAL INJURIES OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS
It is your responsibility to inform us if any members of the group have any medical / information conditions prior to the retreat. PELION HOMES cannot be held responsible for any mishap to clients or their property and in particular for the consequences of the effects of strikes, wars, acts of terrorism, riots, robbery, sickness, quarantine, government intervention or other such happenings. We strongly advise you to take out appropriate insurance at the time of booking.
INSURANCE
We advise all facilitators and participants to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking, to help cover any cancellation fees. If you fail to join a retreat, arrive after the commencement of the retreat, or leave the retreat prior to its completion, no refund will be made – We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early.Ensuring you have the right cover for any potential accident, mishap or illness that occurs during your retreat is your own responsibility. We are not liable for any other expenses a participant may have incurred in relation to a retreat, e.g., flight costs. We will not be held liable, nor pay any compensation, in the event of any injuries, deaths, losses, damages, costs or any other manner of claims if they arise due to the acts or omissions of the person or persons affected, or the acts or omissions of third parties unaffiliated with the service provisions covered within and defined by these terms and conditions.
RETREAT MINIMUM NUMBER PARTICIPANTS
The minimum group number (12) must be met, if it falls beneath this, the facilitator will be liable to pay the difference in attendance based on the twin room rate as agreed for the retreat.
COMPLIMENTARY ACCOMMODATION & FOOD FOR TEACHER
The Stone House Villa, will be provided with complimentary food to the main facilitator and teacher in attendance on the condition the confirmed minimum group number in attendance meets 12 people (not including facilitator/s). If it falls below this number, there will be a €xxx charge based on 50% of the retreat twin room rate.
RETREAT PARTNER/S OR CO-FACILITATOR/S IN ATTENDANCE
If a retreat organiser’s partner or co-facilitator wishes to stay in the villa and eat at the communal space, they will need to pay €xxx towards the accommodation and food as agreed above. If the participant attendance meets 14 people and above, the accommodation and food charge will be complimentary for this person.
PRIVATE TRANSFERS & EXCURSIONS
If transport and excursions are booked, all participants (including facilitators) using the service need to pay full price as quoted per person. If minimum numbers fall below the group number the facilitator organising the retreat will be liable to pay the difference in price in order to make up the outstanding balance for the service. For private transfers organised on behalf of the retreat, all participants and facilitators, must meet at a designated location and time as agreed. The transfer details will be communicated to the driver prior to the required service date. If participants and facilitators cannot meet this requirement, they will be liable to organise and pay for their own transport.
LIABILITY OF THE FACILITATOR
All retreaters must behave in such a manner as to cause no damage, distress to the property or the surrounding area. In circumstances verified by Police authority to be extreme, including significant damage, significant antisocial behavior or illegal activities; PELION HOMES reserve the right to cancel the retreat & request the retreater to leave the retreat without compensation. The retreater undertakes to report any damage, deliberate or accidental damage to Pelion Homes property and we reserve the right to recover from the retreater the cost of any repairs or replacements following damage caused by the retreater.

Please note, the retreat space provides the below equipment for all retreats to use. If you need additional equipment it is your responsibility as facilitator to liaise with the group and ensure it is brought with you if possible.

PASSPORTS & TRAVEL VISA’S
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain a valid passport, visa(s) and necessary certificates for any country to be visited.
WEBSITE INFORMATION & RETREAT PROMOTION
All reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions, facts and opinions on our website are correct and up to date to the best of our knowledge. PELION HOMES have the right to take photographs and also promote the retreat events via the PELION HOMES website and related promotional channels such as Facebook and Instagram. Unless otherwise requested and given advance notice, a standard promotional procedure will be followed by PELION HOMES in promoting the retreat and joint collaboration for both parties’ benefit.
PRIVACY
We do not share customer details with any 3rd parties without your express consent in writing, and then only in order to facilitate the booking of 3rd party services such as excursions, treatments, and restaurant bookings. Please refer to our privacy page on our website for further information.
SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE THIRD PARTIES
Bookings for extra excursions/services, such as airport transfers, excursions, restaurant bookings, made on your behalf by PELION HOMES are subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the provider of the service. PELION HOMES do not warrant the standard or performance of any extra services. The retreater takes full responsibility for satisfying themselves as to the quality and the provider’s ability to execute the services in advance and will address any grievance about the extra services by approaching the respective provider(s) directly.
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
Any last minute bookings must be approved by Pelion Homes and will be offered on the condition there is sufficient availability within the villas based on the participants request
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Weather conditions or circumstances out of our control may affect the itinerary or excursions. Some of the activities during the retreat may be impacted due to weather conditions or force majeure. If we suspect for example that weather conditions are not appropriate, we might reschedule the activities. If it is not possible to reschedule, we will cancel the activities or arrange an alternative suggestion. Under these circumstances and if necessary, a full refund will be provided for any booked activities.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
In the unlikely event that difficulty arises during your retreat you should advise PELION HOMES who will endeavor to resolve the difficulty. Please note that no liability can be accepted for any complaint where a retreater has not followed the complaints procedure and contacted us by email.
FOOD
It is the retreaters responsibility to advise of any food allergies & intolerances prior to the retreat. We will endeavor to ensure dietary requirements are met as best as possible.
POST RETREAT REVIEWS
We have the right to contact you or our guests to ask for a review in-line with the accommodation, retreat space, food and hospitality provided during their stay once the retreat has been completed.
JURISDICTION
