The village of Agios Giorgios Nilias situated at an elevation of 620m above sea level enjoys both the nature of the mountain and the easy access to the sea. It is composed by old traditional houses that sit in a ravine between two mountains. Big supermarkets, hospitals, shops, bars, cafes and the famous ‘tsipouradika’ of Volos small charming places set in a marine environment, where you can sip the local «tsipouro». Also from the main port of Volos one can easily reach the 3 island of the Sporades Constellation (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonisos) with the modern and fast boats or the flying dolphins.
